The Sun-Sentinel reported:
Javier Manjares publisher of a South Florida-based conservative political website, said Tuesday he’s seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Democratic Congressman Ted Deutch, who represents most of Broward and southeast Palm Beach counties.
“We have reached a major crossroads in our nation’s history — we can either choose the path of greater government accountability, economic prosperity and freedom, or we can continue along the path of failure, caused by the corrupt political establishment in Washington, D.C.,” Manjarres wrote in a message to supporters.
He said Deutch “supports misguided and un-American foreign and domestic policies that have left us exposed to greater dangers both at home and abroad.”
Deutch has received massive national attention since the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre in Parkland, which is in Deutch’s district and just a few miles from his home in West Boca.
