Not all heroes wear capes.
But some do use canes.
A hero senior citizen known only as “Bill” at this moment was caught on camera doing his part to fight crime.
Police in Columbus, OH were pursuing an armed robbery suspect who fled with his weapon, passing by a Columbus library. That’s where SuperBill came to the rescue.
“Bill” looked around and saw a man with his hand in his waistband running toward him and heard officers yelling multiple times to drop the gun.
As the officers lagged behind the suspect, “Bill” stuck out a back leg to trip the suspect. The move allowed officers to catch up to him to make an arrest.
Police added that move likely saved the 18-year-old suspect’s life.
Apparently Bill uses a cane, but did not have it at that moment -a true testament to the abilities of those with disabilities.
