President Trump announced Judge Brett Kavanaugh as his second pick for the Supreme Court of the United States Monday evening.
Judge Kavanaugh will replace Justice Kennedy on the Supreme Court.

NBC White House reporter, Geoff Bennett claimed Tuesday morning, based on one, uncorroborated source that Justice Kennedy had been negotiating with the Trump admin for months and Kennedy retired once he was reassured Brett Kavanaugh would be his replacement.
