President Trump doubled down Saturday night and threatened to completely close the southern border after striking a deal with Mexico forcing asylum seekers to remain outside of the US border.
The President fired off a pair of tweets Saturday night reassuring the American people that Obama’s dangerous ‘catch and release’ policy for illegal aliens is over.
President Trump also said, if necessary, he will close the southern border.

Earlier Saturday, it was reported the Trump administration reached a deal with Mexico which will make asylum seekers wait in Mexico while their cases are processed.
Under Obama’s ‘catch and release’ policy, illegal aliens would often just disappear into the US population and ignore orders to appear in court regarding their immigration status.
There are now 5,000 to 6,000 illegal caravan migrants in Tijuana, Mexico waiting to seek asylum into the United States.
According to estimates 500 of those migrants are criminals.
