The Supreme Court’s communications apparatus is reporting that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg underwent surgery to have cancerous nodules removed from her lungs.

The press release seems to say 1) the cancer was very localized in the lung, 2) there is no evidence of metastasis, and 3) she will not be undergoing any variety of chemotherapy.
Cancer treatment is not my specialty and cancer treatment of 85 year old patients is definitely outside my expertise. So I have no insight to offer beyond what I read.
