Last week Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was ordered to pay a $500 civil fine for violating campaign finance law.
Omar had to pay an additional $3,469 fine for improperly used campaign funds.
But the investigation into Ilhan Omar and the findings released by the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board revealed something even more serious.
It appears Ilhan Omar may have filed fraudulent federal and state tax returns.
Michelle Malkin immediately jumped into the fray and called Ilhan Omar out on her fraudulent marriage to her brother and how she filed joint tax returns with a man who she was not married to.
Things that make you go hmmm: Read this closely and keep in mind that @ilhanmn was legally married to Ahmed Elmi from 2009-2017 while also filing joint tax returns with Ahmed Hirsi in 2014 and 2015. Time to get federal IRS officials involved… pic.twitter.com/QERg3PoBZD

Ilhan Omar knows she is in a bind after breaking federal law for several years.
Now this…
During online discussions this week Ilhan Omar’s ‘fixer’ Ben Goldfarb admitted that Ilhan Omar has been successful in getting the Minneapolis Star-Tribune to kill anti-Ilhan reports.
My God. Props to @bloisolson for sharing.
From @IlhanMN’s crisis manager Ben Goldfarb:
“Does anyone in the team have a relationship with Blois? Someone should probably reach out to talk off the record and shut it down with him AS WE DO WITH THE STRIB” [emphasis added]

Nick Solheim has more on this stunning admission.
3. @IlhanMN's campaign staff is SO unwilling to go on the record with reputable journalists (Can't speak more highly of @bloisolson) that they resort to finding a fixer who has a "relationship" with Blois to "shut down" the story.
There's got to be something nefarious here.

I traditionally have considered the @StarTribune to be a reputable outlet (aside from the awful editorial board)
If @IlhanMN's fixer was able to shut down stories from the Star Tribune, imagine how many stories do you think they shut down from @MinnPost, @citypages, and others?

The Gateway Pundit reached out to The Star-Tribune about Goldfarb’s accusations and we are waiting for a response.
