Authorities have identified the Capital Gazette shooter using facial recognition software.
His name is Jarrod Ramos; he is 38 years old, according to NBC.
Law enforcement told media sources the shooter previously sued the Capital Gazette for defamation and lost.
Jarrod Ramos entered the Capital Gazette building in Annapolis, Maryland on Thursday afternoon, and shot and killed five people; many more are injured.
